Pastoral Artisan Producer Festival Taking Over French Market

Photo: Pastoral

On April 27, more than 80 artisan cheesemakers, brewers, distilleries, wineries, confectioners, dry good producers, and charcuterie producers from around the world will flood the Chicago French Market—and it's totally free. The third annual Pastoral Artisan Producer Festival will offer attendees small-batch tastes of all of these vendors, plus a book signing with author and Zingerman's co-founder Ari Weinzweig and a Cochon 555 ticket giveaway which takes place the following day. Last year's festival drew over 10,000 people.

Started by Pastoral founders Greg O'Neill and Ken Miller, there's not many places where foodies can find this array of products and samples all in one place. It's happening from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on April 27.
