March marks the first anniversary of a few big openings, including Michael Kornick's Ada Street. When the "spiritual advisor" of the initial bar program, Tim Lacey, left, it was unknown what would become of it. Now the restaurant is launching a giant overhauled beverage menu.
The menu more than doubles its predecessor, bumping the number of specialty cocktails available to 40. They're broken up into sections defined by types of liquor (vodka, gin, rum, tequila, Irish & scotch, bourbon & rye, cognac & brandy, aromatics) as well as "shots" and "nite caps" sections. The restaurant is also adding new bar snacks in two sections: "pick it up" (including polenta fries and scrumpets) and "with toast." The menu is available now and looks to be quite an upgrade.
