The explosion of Randolph Street and the West Loop as a whole is continuing, as one of the hottest restaurant and hotel chains in the world headed by one of the most iconic actors in history has their sights on moving in. The Nobu Restaurant and Hotel brand co-founded by Robert De Niro is zeroing in on opening a location on Randolph Row, Chicago Real Estate Daily is reporting.
The site, at 846-854 W. Randolph St., is 12,000 square-feet. There's currently 26 locations of the modern-Japanese brand, led by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, across the globe. There's a ways to go before the local location is finalized and construction would begin, not to mention the actual buildout. But it speaks volumes of the explosion of Randolph Street in the last decade and recently that this type of towering concept is knocking down the door. More to come.
