No More Taste?

logo.jpgDowntown Ald. Bob Fioretti (2nd) submitted a resolution today calling for a hearing on "the reconstitution or elimination" of The Taste of Chicago. Taxpayers footed $1.3 million on losses for last year's food and entertainment festival, which was shortened to a five-day event. Mayor Emanuel still supports the Taste, calling on city law makers to "make changes, reforms." The festival kicks off this year on July 10. [DNAInfo]
