Soon there will be more competition for music venues, bars, and restaurants in Wicker Park. The vacant space on 2033 W North seems to finally show some progress, and reportedly it will be called Chicago Chop Shop. The 9,300 square-foot space will feature a deli-style restaurant, as well as live music and a bar. There's no timetable towards completion but it seems to need an extensive buildout. [DNAInfo]
