Another chain bar and eatery is coming to River North with eyes on the afterwork and tourist crowds. Brewstone Beer Company, a Midwest-bred casual concept, is opening up at 414 N. Orleans on March 14. It'll be the fifth location, in addition to Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Philadelphia. The building also houses Baume & Brix, The Grid, Starbucks, and office space, and is across the street from the upcoming Dillman's.
Bridgestone cooks the usual blend of ambiguous bar comfort food. Think nachos, coconut shrimp, tacos, burgers, and fish and chips. They will serve five items uniquely to the Chicago location and have 32 beers on tap. A second floor lounge will open later in the spring for live performances and private events. Both lunch and dinner will be available, opening at 11 a.m. and closing at 2 a.m. It's another happy hour option for those in the area.
