The J. Alexander's on Clybourn is no more. Eyewitnesses say it closed last week, and there's now a sign on the door confirming it. A voicemail greeting is further confirmation. They have two more in the suburbs (Oak Brook and Northbrook) as well as a myriad of locations around the country. The vacant space is just down the street from a new Smashburger. [EaterWire]
