Word leaked about a Farmhouse expansion to Evanston two weeks ago, but project details are finally emerging now. The space will be 5,500 square-feet, sit in the former Futami space in the Hilton Orrington building at 703 Church Street in a projected early-May opening, Evanston Patch reports. Two floors will house 160 seats, plus 60 patio seats and a larger kitchen, a big jump from the Chicago Avenue flagship.
Similar to the original location, the expansion will focus on "farm-to-tavern" fare. They will locally source ingredients whenever possible, have 36 craft beers on tap, and possibly collaborate with fellow Evanstonian FEW Spirits.
With other recent openings like Found and Ward Eight, the Evanston scene just keeps growing.
