$1 Do-Rite Donuts; Filini Cocktail Classes Return

LOOP—President's Day also happens to be Do-Rite Donuts' first anniversary, and they're celebrating by offering $1 old fashioned, meyer lemon glazed, valrhona chocolate frosted, and many more donuts until they run out. It's about half-off the regular price. [EaterWire]

MILLENIUM PARKFilini cocktail classes are back for their second year. Held once a month, they're limited to 15 people and focus on a different drink each time. The first is held February 19 and the cocktail is hot buttered rum. This year, one participant from each class will be randomly selected for a mixology competition in December. [EaterWire]

STREETERVILLE—There's another February birthday coming up, this time at Markethouse. They're turning four so naturally there's a special menu of $4.44 items. They include boar belly crostini, hickory-smoked baby back ribs, and the "marketini." The menu is available February 17-23. [EaterWire]

WEST LOOPVera is continuing their schedule of winter classes by offering "Bubbles Before Brunch," focusing on sparking wines from around the world. It's in conjunction with Leopold, takes place on February 24 at 11:00 a.m., includes brunch nosh, and costs $40. [EaterWire]
