Little Goat pastry chef Amanda Rafalski scored a resounding victory in the first quarterfinal, more than doubling the other three contestants combined. In the second quarterfinal, Yusho's John Vermiglio, who will soon be running the kitchen at one of Matthias Merges's new Hyde Park concepts, slid through by a single vote.
