Chef Homaro Cantu is no stranger to working in different kitchens, but some Northwest Side residents might not have had the chance to taste his cuisine. That's changing next month, however, as Cantu is swapping places with Bread & Wine chef Curtis Gamble on March 12 and 13. Each chef will be implementing their personal styles in five-course dinners over multiple seatings for $120.
Gamble's five courses are a complete 180 from iNG, featuring fried bologna with flamin' hot "Funyuns," cheddar wiz, and bread & butter pickle; eggs in Jell-O, and popcorn panna cotta. Likewise, Cantu will depart from Bread & Wine country charcuterie by serving black truffle pasta with edible candle and tomato waffle cone with avocado, yuzu, and herring salad.
