Five More Protein Bars Coming; Grant's Wonderburger Changing Hands; More

MILLENNIUM PARK/LINCOLN PARK/LOOP—The Protein Bar takeover continues, as five more locations are slated for 2014 openings. The first is coming to 1953 N. Clybourn on Feb. 15, as well as a 1400 square-foot expansion at 151 N. Michigan in the fall. "At least three additional Loop locations" are also in the works, according to a release. [EaterWire]

MOUNT GREENWOOD—With Russ Grant's Logan Square burger joint (Parts & Labor) still brand new, Patch is reporting that his family is selling their 58-year-old Mount Greenwood burger joint, Grant's Wonderburger. Expect it to close tonight and reopen in a few weeks under new ownership. [Patch]

RIVER NORTH—The most-recent incarnation of Japonais is closed. It will reopen as Japonais by Morimoto on January 31 with Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto. The reservation line opens on January 13. [EaterWire]

LOGAN SQUARE—Cozy Corner, a neighborhood favorite diner and breakfast spot at Milwaukee and California, is expanding by taking over the neighboring produce shop next month. 20 seats will be added. [DNAinfo]

RIVER NORTH/WEST LOOP—Say goodbye to Graham Elliot and Ina's tonight. Elliot is hoping to open a different restaurant in a different location next year.
