Amidst The Goddess and Grocer relocating and expanding, owner Debbie Sharpe has shuttered Cru Kitchen & Bar in the Gold Coast. Sharpe says that the restaurant, which shares the space with a Goddess and Grocer location, wasn't as busy as Goddess and she had to decide which to keep. She is hoping to use the space for an expanded Goddess and Grocer with a dining room and bar but only "if all works out well with the landlord." It's possible that Goddess and Grocer will close or relocate too. Cru Kitchen & Bar was previously Cru Cafe & Wine Bar, as well as a Feast location.

Sharpe also is hoping that the Bucktown Goddess and Grocer expansion, which is moving across the street to a location twice as large, will open in February. It will have two floors, a dining room, an upstairs terrace, salad, soup, and hot food bars, and 60 seats. Feast remains open on Damen.
