A Taproom Opens in Evanston; Another Meli Cafe Open

EVANSTON—Temperance Beer Company, Evanston's first craft brewery, is unveiling their taproom tonight at 7:30. The 2,000 square-foot space holds 56 seats; six of their beers will be on tap and four local vendors are providing snacks. Owner Josh Gilbert is planning to open a beer garden on site in the spring.
