The Minibar folks have brought more meat and meat-related puns to Boystown. Their new restaurant mEAT is now open on Halsted, offering a selection of skewered foods and cocktails.
The menu (below) is broken up into sections named "Before We Meat" (appetizers), "Begin To Meat" (skewers), and "While We Meat" (sides). Altogether, 14 skewers are available, including pistachio crusted pork tenderloin and wasabi crusted salmon. Cocktails titled "classics with a twist" employ a variety of foams, zests, and even a zest skewer, Szechuan lemon wheel, or flamed lemon coin.
mEAT is open daily from 5-11 p.m.
