New Billy Goat Tavern Opens; Sixteen's Chicago History Menu; More

LOOP—The new Billy Goat Tavern opened on Lake Street today, with some un-Billy Goat Tavern features: Craft beer and salads. The location seats 85 and also serves cheezborgers. [DNAinfo]

RIVER NORTH—Sixteen's winter menu, launching tonight, revolves around Chicago history. It begins with a "ferris wheel of snacks" and includes Native American, railroad, canal, Chicago flag, Upton Sinclair, and Chicago fire-themed dishes. 10 courses cost $150, 20 courses cost $210, a prix-fixe costs $105; a la carte options are available too.
