Today, restaurant vet Dan Rosenthal re-enters the dining scene with his Venetian-inspired project, Cicchetti. The menu design is inspired by Harry's Bar in Venice, the interior design is the first newly-constructed Green Seal restaurant in the city, featuring reclaimed wood from upper Wisconsin.
Clean whites and exposed wood beams are the backdrop for Mike Sheerin's food, which come from an exposed kitchen viewed from the dining room. Fermenting limoncello (which is given away at the end of every meal) and wine shelves accessible via a sliding step ladder sit behind the marble-topped bar.
Both lunch and dinner service begins today.
