Cheesie's Pub & Grub, Poutine Bar Coming to Wicker Park

If all goes according to plan, Wicker Parkers will have their very own Cheesie's Pub & Grub next spring. But the Wicker Park Cheesie's will have more—specifically an adjacent whiskey and poutine bar.

First reported by Our Urban Times, Cheesie's owner Chris Johnston is planning to open a third, 95-seat Cheesie's location for a long-vacant, boarded-up building next to Harold's Chicken and across the street from Emporium Arcade Bar in April. He's also hoping to add the 60-seat Whiskey Business next door, which will have a 20-topping customizable poutine bar, and a 120-seat rooftop patio connecting his new business with Harold's.
