Chris Curren Launches New 'Diner' Menus at West Town Bakery & Diner

New, 1 comment

After teasing the overhaul of West Town Bakery & Diner back in July, Fifty/50 group executive chef Chris Curren has rolled out the revamped food and beverage program after briefly closing the restaurant. And, as promised, the new menu has much more of a traditional diner focus.

While West Town Bakery used to mainly serve baked goods, it now offers breakfast and lunch fare all day, booze, and Dark Matter coffee. Breakfast dishes include an array of "classics" (egg dishes, chilaquiles, lox and bagel sandwich, chicken & waffle), pancakes and waffles, and skillets in addition to the baked goods. Lunch items include burgers, salads, and "overstuffed sandwiches." Desserts, canned beer, four alcoholic beverages, and hot drinks are also available.

Besides the food and drink, the menus themselves are now different too: they've made 10 different menus that are slight alterations of classic rock and hip hop album covers. West Town Bakery & Diner reopened with the new format this morning at 7 a.m.
