Trellis, the new elevated neighborhood bar from Four Corners Tavern Group, opens tonight in the former Gaslight space.

An emphasis is given to its beer, wine and cocktail program, but Trellis promises "casually refined dishes" from executive chef Sarah McDonnell (Fountainhead, Bistrot Margot) as well.

The European-inspired Trellis will feature McDonnell's take on American favorites such as buffalo chicken cracklings, Prosecco cheese fondue, kale and radicchio salad with maple bourbon vinaigrette, and fig jam and bacon pizza. McDonnell will also serve up a selection of cheeses and charcuterie, including Iberico ham.

As for the spirits program, Trellis will have a "manageable" wine list with "modest price points," nearly fifty different beers, and cocktails promising "unique flavor combinations" such as the 'Oola La' (vodka, cooked carrot juice, maple syrup, apple and fresh squeezed orange juice.

Four Corners Tavern Group's Ryan Indovina says that Trellis is "an ideal spot" for those on "date night, before the theater" or on "a night out in the neighborhood with friends."

Trellis' is open Tuesday through Sunday beginning at 5 p.m. and closed on Mondays.
