Yet another immense concept will soon join the local restaurant and bar scene, this one from the owner of a well-regarded spot in River North. Untitled owner Marc Bushala, who also owns other River North hospitality real estate, is working on a large three-pronged concept near Fulton Market, Crain's reports.
Bushala is turning a former warehouse into a 140-seat American brasserie named Brass Monkey, a microdistillery and bar, and an event space. He's targeting a March opening for the restaurant and a May opening for the distillery, which will produce vodka, gin, whiskey and absinthe.
This project is just the latest in a rash of recent spots with remarkable largesse to hit town, such as Chop Shop/1st Ward and Untitled itself.
