LINCOLN PARK—Lincoln Parkers now have a new option for locally-sourced farm-raised American fare. Range Restaurant, from Orange owner Andrew Klemen, opened to the public on Wednesday in the former Webster Street Cafe and Kith & Kin space. The menu (below) is broken up by shared, medium, and large plates; as well as bar snacks and a kids menu; featuring sandwiches, flatbreads, dipping sauces, and more.
RIVER NORTH—Nouveau Tavern, the African-American owned and run cajun and creole spot, soft opens tonight at 358 W. Ontario. Menu items include seafood gumbo, blackened catfish, "Bayou Wings," and bananas foster. A nightlife element will also be prevalent—including bottle service—to cater to the River North bar-hoppers. The grand opening is scheduled for Halloween.
