After More Than Ten Years In Business, Glunz Bavarian Haus Shuttered

A quintessential German destination has closed its doors in Lincoln Square. Glunz Bavarian Haus, a neighborhood mainstay for more than 10 years, is shuttered. Ownership posted a short statement on the restaurant's website, only saying "Thank you for 10 1/2 wonderful years! We enjoyed serving you! So many great memories!" Glunz was known for throwing German-themed food and beer festivals, including a rollicking annual Oktoberfest celebration.
