Leghorn Sneak Peek; CH's Pickle Night; More

UKRAINIAN VILLAGE—A Leghorn interior shot has emerged, and the space looks to be coming together quickly. Chris Dexter, Jared Van Camp and company are hoping to open the chicken restaurant in January. [Facebook]

WEST LOOP—Dia de los Muertos means pickle night at CH Distillery. They're hosting Rick Field of New York's Rick's Picks tomorrow, who's providing a pickle sampling station. The bar will be serving "pickletinis" and bloody mary shots, make-your-own-pickletini kits will be on sale, and bites such as deviled eggs with pickled okra will be served. Free admission. GOLD COAST—Two more items are coming off that Spiaggia "30 before 30" list. Cafe Spiaggia is adding fried chicken and a burger to the menu tomorrow; the chicken is one of their comida (staff) meals.
