Hunter & Tails, Tacos Tequilas, and More Open

HUMBOLDT PARK—Bullhead Cantina owner Francisco "Paco" Ruiz is opening his American gastropub, Hunter & Tails, this weekend. The menu follows a traditional appetizer/entree format (as well as a section for "greens") and features mussels with Butcher & Larder sausage, line caught fish with chowder, pumpkin risotto, grass fed steak, and portobello torte. Entrees run from $10-28, meats are sourced from local farms, craft cocktails and 20 craft beers on tap are available. The grand opening happens tonight at 10 p.m.; regular hours begin tomorrow at 4 p.m. [EaterWire]

LOGAN SQUARE—A new Mexican spot, Tacos Tequilas, opens today at 2919 N. Milwaukee. The menu features an array of entrees (platillos) like a pork chop in mole sauce with plantains, small plates (botanas), and tacos, of course. [Chicago Mag]

EVANSTON—La Macchina, an "Italian-style restaurant and cafe," is now open at 1620 Orrington Ave. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee drinks, and cocktails, the setting is based on vintage Italian motorcycles. [Patch]
