What's on the Menu at Azzurra Enotavola, Opening October 29

Wicker Park is about to get a new Italian option. Co-owners Marty Fosse (Anteprima, Acre) and Ron DiNella (Go Roma, Morton's) have set the opening date for their latest project, Azzurra Enotavola, for a week from today (October 29).

The dinner menu features a large set of shared starters, bouncing between salads, arancini, crostini, salumi, and spreads. Dishes include polenta terrine with pork sausage, kale, and buffalo mozzarella; mushroom-stuffed farro arancini; and carrot caponata with Sicilian relish and pine nuts. Two smaller sections focus on pasta and mains (all under $20), including pancetta-wrapped pork loin, wild boar sausage, stuffed rainbow trout, and black linguine with shrimp.

Brunch service will also launch the following weekend, beginning November 2. That menu features focaccia benedict, polenta griddle cakes, and Italian sausage frittata. Fosse and chef de cuisine Katie Kelly (The Bristol) designed the food menus; they'll change them based on available ingredients.

The beverage program will center around an all-Italian wine list and house made limoncello, arancello, and nocino. Check out the food menus below.
