Say Hello to Eater Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver

It's a pleasure to announce the debut of our first ever international editions of Eater. Please say hello to Eater Montreal, Eater Toronto, and Eater Vancouver, now covering all the ins and outs of the Canadian restaurant universe. They join the growing family of Eater websites, now on the ground in 27 markets in North America.

These three sites will, of course, serve as the go-to spots for extensive coverage of the restaurant, nightlife, and bar scenes of their respective cities. They are run by highly talented local writers and restaurant obsessives. Ian Harrison (ian@eater.com) in Montreal has freelanced for the Montreal Gazette and other publications and is the man who first brought one Mr. Anthony Bourdain to the city to show him the wonders of Joe Beef and Au Pied de Cochon. Toronto's Carolyn Grisold (grisold@eater.com) is a longtime Toronto resident and freelancer with a professional background in spirits. And Nikki Bayley (nikki@eater.com), a Brit and a force to be reckoned with, heads up the Vancouver site. A veteran food and music writer, she moved to the city just last year after falling for its restaurant scene.

Check in on all three sites early and often—especially if planning a trip across our northern border—and send these guys tips, rants, and raves, and follow them all on Twitter at @EaterMontreal, @EaterToronto, and @VancouverEater.
