The Gyro Machines Stop Spinning at Covo

Add more turnover to the Wicker Park scene, as Covo Gyro Market, the fast-casual gyro concept from the Prasino team, is closed for good. A sign went up in the window over the weekend announcing the shutter effective September 28 and directing Fork Route ticket holders to visit Prasino instead. Ownership is choosing to just close for good rather than reconcept within the large space in the heart of Wicker Park. Covo lasted just over a year, serving a variety of gyros, toppings, spreads, and sides rarely seen at traditional gyro spots.
