Seasons 52, the national wine bar and restaurant chain featuring seasonally-changing low-calorie menu items, opens its first city location today in The Shops at North Bridge. The big-box restaurant moves in after Buca di Beppo exited the massive space due to a rent hike.
Seasons 52, as you might guess based on the name, changes its menu four times a year with the seasons. It opens today with its autumn menu in place, offering "Piedmontese Beef & Black Bean Chili," "Grilled Kona-Crusted Lamb T-Bone Chops," and a mini pumpkin pie with ginger snap crust, among other items. The restaurant "promises that nothing on its menu is over 475 calories."
The new space in the touristy location holds 260 seats (100 in the dining room), a piano bar with live music nightly, an open kitchen, a chef's table, and a "climate-controlled wine chateau." It's open for lunch and dinner daily.
