Shipping Container Starbucks, Boustan, and Second HashBrowns Open

EDGEWATER—If you're interested in buying that pumpkin spice latte from a Starbucks made from reused shipping containers, you're in luck. Said Starbucks opened for business yesterday at 6350 Broadway, servicing only drive-thru and walk-up patrons from a former hot dog stand location. [DNAinfo]

LOGAN SQUARE—A BYO Mediterranean option opened last week in Logan Square. Boustan Mediterranean Cafe, from the owners of Noble Square's Arabia Cafe & Hookah Lounge and El Souk in the Gold Coast, holds 120 seats underneath Suite 25 on Milwaukee Avenue. Look for lafa bread wraps, appetizers, entree plates, omelettes, and more at all three meals. Boustan was originally named Zaytoon but changed its name because of a "conflicting situation with another Zaytune." [EaterWire]

OLD TOWN—The second location of University Village's popular brunch spot HashBrowns is now open on the corner of Division and Wells. They serve a similar array of egg dishes, sides, hash browns, and other hangover-helping breakfast and lunch food. [EaterWire]

LOGAN SQUARE—State Fair, a casual spot from Azucar Tapas Restaurant and Tapas Bar owner Robert Rosado, is now open at 3152 W Diversey. State fair-themed menu items include hot dogs, funnel cakes, fried cheese curds, and fried Twinkies. Rosado is also opening a presidential-themed bar next door, The Previous Administration, in a few weeks. [DNAinfo]
