Nouveau Tavern, the new cajun and creole-inspired concept on Ontario, is softly open now. The space, designed by D&K Architects, has much more of a lounge feel to it than restaurant; awash in deep purples in dim lighting. 288 people (138 seats) fit into an open floor plan broken into three sections: you'll see the main dining area first, a primary bar to your left with high tops, and a back bar and lounge next to a DJ booth. The menu is subject to tweaks, as the grand opening isn't until Halloween. A late night menu will also be available.
