Today is the day that the unique butcher shop/deli/restaurant/bar/event space combination officially enters the local sphere—Chop Shop is fully opening.
The restaurant menu, executed by chef Joshua Marrelli (Urban Union) and served in two dining rooms, features hearty meat-centric dishes like steaks, chops, and a signature butcher's board sourced from the in-house butcher shop. Dan De Los Monteros (The Bedford) created a nine-item cocktail list that includes tweaks on an Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Pimm's Cup, and Cobbler. The beer list runs between tall boys and craft, on draft and in bottles.
Taste it all in the huge former auto body shop on North Avenue beginning today.
