The next edition of the AAA Five Diamond Ratings is starting to leak out, and Grace and Sixteen are confirmed honorees. Chicago's recipients of the ratings, which are given by the motor club and leisure travel organization to "North America's most renowned dining experiences" (and apparently they charge $750 a year for restaurants to use their logo), were unchanged for years before Charlie Trotter's dropped off after it closed. Alinea, Everest, Tru, and Arun's have all been on the list since 2006; Grace and Sixteen will be joining them this time around. Check out Grace's notification letter below—co-owner Michael Muser says they're "thrilled to be selected for this prestigious award."
