Another Nori Sushi; Another BBQ Spot; More on the Way

WEST LOOP—What's coming in the former Sushi Loop space at 810 W. Jackson? Judging by the sign, it will have something to do with happy cartoon crabs. The restaurant is named The Happy Crab, of course. [EaterWire]

LOGAN SQUARE—Nori Sushi is expanding again, as signage is up in the windows at 2537 N. Milwaukee in Logan Square. Scheduled to open sometime this month, it joins three other Nori locations. [EaterWire]

LAKEVIEW—Another barbecue spot is coming soon, this one moving in from the burbs. Fast-casual Q BBQ, with existing locations in La Grange and Naperville, is hoping to open in the former Barrio Urban Taqueria space on 714 W. Diversey around December 1. [Crain's]

EDGEWATER—Cookies & Carnitas, the unusual culinary combination first witnessed at Green City Market, is moving into the Barry's Spot Pizza space on 5757 N. Broadway. Pizza and sandwiches will also be served. [Edgeville Buzz]
