Chef Movements Abound at HB Home Bistro, Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba!, More

BOYSTOWN—After word broke three months that HB Home Bistro executive chef Joncarl Lochman was getting set to leave for Philly, the move is now official. Former chef de cuisine Victor Morenz takes over the kitchen and as operating partner.

LINCOLN PARKLuis Vazquez is the new executive chef at Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba!, the 25-year-old festive Lettuce Entertain You spot. Vazquez will be adding new items to the menu like coca (spanish flatbread) and house-made churros.

GOLD COASTRosebud Steakhouse has made a couple changes: Michael Lilleberg is now executive chef, helping to launch new lunch and dinner menus. New dishes include prawn cocktail and miso-glazed black cod.

WEST TOWN—Former Sixteen pastry chef de partie Chris Teixeira has taken over as executive pastry chef at West Town Bakery and Diner. Teixeira will oversee the pastries, desserts, and breads at the certified green restaurant.
