LAKEVIEW— Fish Bar Chicago is launching a charitable program called Friends of Fish, wherein each quarter, the restaurant teams up with a non-profit organization whose efforts focus on sustainable fishing, farming and the aquatic environment. The program will include donations, raffles, events, food and drink specials, and more, and each month 20 percent of the sales from a different menu section will go to the selected charity. LAKEVIEW— On Thursday at 6:30 Yoshi's Cafe will host a fundraiser for the victims of the 2011 tsunami that devastated parts of Japan. Ingredients for the menu will come from Hitachinaka City, chef Yoshi Katsumura's birthplace and a locale that was devastated by the tsunami. The dinner is $48 per person. [CT]
