C-House, the modern, American restaurant opened by celeb chef Marcus Samuelsson back in 2008 in what was then the Affina Hotel (now called MileNorth), will close after service on Saturday, January 19. Reps at the hotel announce that the restaurant and the hotel lobby are undergoing a complete renovation. A casual restaurant, marketplace and barista bar will open in the spaces once the renovation is over. Reps have yet to release a name for the restaurant, a projected opening date, or more details on the concept or the fate of C-House's latest chef Rah Shabazz. Stay tuned for more.
