South Water Kitchen Reopens; Atmosphere Gets a Facelift

ANDERSONVILLE— Gay bar Atmosphere has reopened after some cosmetic renovations, including new lights, new coats of paint, and new light-up tables. [Edgeville Buzz]

RIVER NORTH— From 5 - 9 p.m. tonight French bistro Paris Club is hosting a free wine tasting. Winemaker Jessica Munnell of Mercer Estates who will be on hand to guide guests through tastings and light hors d'oeuvres will be served. [EaterWire]

THE LOOPSouth Water Kitchen, the restaurant adjacent to the Hotel Monaco, opened today after three weeks of renovations. The spot features a tin ceiling, white subway tiles on the walls, and a new stone-topped bar. Meanwhile, the new menu features a range of flatbreads, deviled eggs, duck jerky, and a beer, bacon, and bourbon burger. [EaterWire]

WICKER PARKRed Square Cafe Lounge, the new restaurant, bar, spa, and bath house located in the legendary old Division Bath House building, will open to the public any day now.
