South Water Kitchen Reopens; Atmosphere Gets a Facelift

ANDERSONVILLE— Gay bar Atmosphere has reopened after some cosmetic renovations, including new lights, new coats of paint, and new light-up tables. [Edgeville Buzz]

THE LOOP— South Water Kitchen, the restaurant adjacent to the Hotel Monaco, opened today after three weeks of renovations. The spot features a tin ceiling, white subway tiles on the walls, and a new stone-topped bar. Meanwhile, the new menu features a range of flatbreads, deviled eggs, duck jerky, and a beer, bacon, and bourbon burger. [EaterWire]

WICKER PARK— Red Square Cafe Lounge, the new restaurant, bar, spa, and bath house located in the legendary old Division Bath House building, will open to the public any day now.
