Steve's Deli Shuttered

Steve's Deli at 354 W. Hubbard, an offshoot of the Bloomfield Hills, MI location, is shuttered. An employee at the Michigan location confirmed this, and the manager, Stan, says they're "in discussions." He blamed lack of traffic after 5 PM in the area for the restaurant's downfall. Baume & Brix recently opened across the street and there's a giant high rise going up next door, so it's possible the traffic will improve.

A sign on the vacant deli's door says it will reopen in the spring with a new concept under new management. Might the next concept be another deli?
