See, you knew it wouldn't take long for Scott Harris to leak out news of additional projects. While this morning it was reported that he shuttered Salatino's and Dough Boys on Saturday night, he's already working on opening more Glazed & Infused locations. In fact, one is already open.
Harris's team has taken over the lobby coffee bar at the Raffaello Hotel and is operating a Glazed & Infused location there. They're offering their 12 doughnut varieties (apple fritter, old fashioned, maple bacon long john, etc.) and currently offering drip Intelligentsia coffee. They hope to soon add an espresso machine for a full coffee bar. You can get doughnuts there in the morning, but they also recently started offering late-night snacks as well.
And while Glazed & Infused currently has two other city spots in Wicker Park in the backside of Francesca's Forno (1553 N. Damen) and in the West Loop at 813 W. Fulton (there are two other suburban locations), a fourth Chicago location is aiming to open at 929 W. Armitage. That's pretty much right next to the Brown Line stop so you can get your morning fix on the way to work.
