The impressions continue to roll in for Alinea's takeover of Eleven Madison Park. This time it's from Kathleen Squires of Zagat, who attended night two of the collaboration. Everything from the service to the food was outstanding, and Squires said she suddenly understood why tickets were so expensive after accounting for travel costs and housing for 17 people for an entire week. No expenses were spared, with the team going as far as bringing in leaves from Michigan for the meals. Her favorite dishes included the black truffle explosion, lamb 5 ways with 60 garnishes made of 86 ingredients and an edible, green apple helium balloon. [Zagat]
