BlackFinn American Grille Sets Course for River North

Brace yourselves city-folk, the suburbs are coming. But you have time to prepare because BlackFinn American Grille, which currently has a location in Mount Prospect that just opened in Randhurst Village Sept. 6, won't open until sometime next spring. When it does, the 10,300-square-foot, 427-seat bar and restaurant will add an eclectic American spot to the River North area.

The Finn, as it's called, seems like it has a little bit of something for everyone in a relaxed, sports-bar-type space. The menu will be similar to that of the other two, but with some tweaks. Expect everything from fish and chips and a slew of Angus burgers to Hong Kong-style Chilean sea bass, steak frites and bacon-wrapped meatloaf. Of course it'll have an extensive beer and cocktail list. So when your family doesn't want to leave the 'burbs, just tell them now they don't have to.
