Ald. Joe Moreno wants to know whether Chick-fil-A's non-profit arm, the WinShape Foundation, has stopped giving money to organizations with political agendas. Last week, Moreno gave the thumbs up to a new restaurant in his ward after he said company execs assured him Chick-fil-A had changed its practices. But after company president Dan Cathy said they "made no concessions," Moreno wants clarification. Saying the comment "muddied the progress," Moreno added, "It's pretty simple, Mr. Cathy. Do you acknowledge and support the policies that your executives outlined to me in writing or do you not? Yes or no? [CNN]
