Crepes a Latte has closed. The quaint North Center creperie and cafe, which was just steps from the Irving Park EL station at 1840 W. Irving Park, posted a note to customers thanking them, but that they just weren't doing enough business. "We have yet to make this a profitable venture in this economy," the note said. Maybe the interior, styled to look like an almost Disney-like version of a Parisian street scene, was too kitschy. Or maybe there just wasn't enough foot traffic.
