Even though the exact opening is still up in the air, soon Lincoln Parkers will have an extension of one of their favorite Italian spots as the owners of Riccardo Trattoria are planning to open Riccardo Enoteca directly across the street.
The new 45-seat wine bar in the former Clark Bar location will have a wood-burning pizza oven and will offer about 10 different styles of pizza, including a classic margherita and one with gorgonzola. Co-owner Maurizio Michi, Riccardo's brother, said the style is "typical Italian," but rather than the more prevalent Neapolitan style seen around town, it'll be baked in a pan in the oven. Riccardo Enoteca will also have baked sandwiches, grilled vegetables, charcuterie and the like. Michi said they want to open by late August or early September, but are waiting on the city for permits to redo the facade, which needs better support.
