Autre Monde, which shuttered after being damaged in a fire in June, is on the mend. Initial reports said the restaurant would be closed for about a month, but damage was more extensive and construction to rehabilitate the space is taking longer. Co-owner Christine Tully Aranza said it looks like they'll open in late September or early October with some small cosmetic changes. They're installing new kitchen equipment and will expand the menu, too. Otherwise, expect the same things you've come to love about the Berwyn spot when it re-opens this fall. [EaterWire]
