Ray Harris is really going to miss Charlie Trotter's. After dining at the storied restaurant's final service last night, Harris, a vice chairman at Morgan Stanley, logged his 424th visit to the Lincoln Park spot. While it sounds like he dropped a lot of coin, Trotter said he stopped charging Harris after his 175th meal. "I couldn't give him a bill anymore," Trotter said. "At that point, I wasn't interested in commerce. Ray was serious about everything from how the utensils were placed on the table to the wine. I like serious people." [Bloomberg]
