Paul Qui and Local Chefs Cook for Common Threads

Local and national chefs will be cooking up a storm tomorrow night, August 28, at A Magnificent Taste in downtown Chicago. The culinary event takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Pioneer Court to raise funds for Common Threads, an organization dedicated for educating children from low-income families on the importance of nutrition.

Guests will sample seasonal bites, headlined by the chance to try a creation from Top Chef winner Paul Qui. So if you've wanted to see (and taste) what put Qui ahead of the pack on Bravo's hit show, here's your opportunity. Other local chefs participating include Anthony Martin (Tru), Lee Wolen (The Peninsula), Patricio Sandoval (Mercadito), Doug Psaltis (RPM Italian), Rick Gresh (David Burke's Primehouse) and Ryan Poli (Tavernita) among others.

The event will be a part of the two-week Magnificent Mile Shopping Festival presented by MasterCard from August 24 through September 6. General admission tickets can be purchased for $125 and VIP tickets, which include a meet and greet reception with Qui, can be had for $200.
