Updates: Covo Gyro Market, Bar Pastoral, Pizano's, More

WICKER PARK—Covo Gyro Market, the newest offering from the folks behind Prasino, is set to open in late August at 1482 N. Milwaukee. Owner Ted Maglaris said they'll offer all-natural, hand-packed meat (lamb/beef, chicken and pork) and the space will have an urban feel with metal, brick walls and reclaimed materials. [EaterWire]

LAKEVIEW—Construction has started on Bar Pastoral and is targeting a mid fall opening. Moss Design is doing the interior and, pulling inspiration from wine caves in Sonoma, Tuscany and Provence, will have barrel-vaulted ceilings, custom herringbone shelving, found fire bricks, reclaimed wooden cheese pegs and more. WICKER PARK—Pizano's will likely open its fifth location, at 2056 W. Division, sometime this month. [WPBIG]

UPTOWN—Reservoir, at 844 W. Montrose, is getting even closer to opening as they've posted a help wanted sign on their door. [Uptown Update]

WICKER PARK—Ramen shop Oiistar (1385 N. Milwaukee), is targeting a September opening and will have five types of handmade ramen and various apps like glazed pork buns and kimchi in a 50-seat room with an open kitchen with a 15-seat bar. [RedEye via WPBIG]
