If you thought Independence Day was over, think again. Saturday is Bastille Day, the French National Day commemorating the storming of the Bastille. French restaurants will be celebrating the occasion by offering prix-fixe menus and other specials throughout the weekend. Check out the list after the jump to see where you can get your duck confit, steak frites and crème brûlée fixing. Bon appétit!
1) Pierrot Gourmet
Where: 108 E. Superior
What: Escape to France with a week-long special menu featuring French delicacies between July 9 and 15. The specials include bibb salad with garden herbs and Dijon dressing, duck confit on crushed potatoes with frisee salad, and lobster flatbread “thermidor” with artichokes, mushrooms, gruyere cheese and tarragon-mustard aioli.

What: Celebrate with a $39 three-course prix fixe menu from July 13 to 15. Offerings include chicken liver mousse or Lyonnaise salad, Scottish salmon or steak frites, and chocolate crème brulee or baked Alaska.
3) Le Bouchon
Where: 1958 N. Damen
What: A two-day Bastille Day prix fixe menu for $32 features your choice of gratin of shrimp, duck confit salad or mussel soup, and grilled hanger steak, sautéed frog legs or housemade pheasant and wild boar sausages. Finish the meal with Bastille desserts made for the occasion.
4) Toni Patisserie & Café
Where: 65 E. Washington
What: Commemorate independence with a special French inspired menu all month long. Items include merguez sausage on baguette, ratatouille tart, plat de fromage, peach galette and much more.
Where: 330 E. Randolph
What: Enjoy a half-priced raw bar and special sampling of sparkling French wines on July 14. Highlights include the Grande Platter, Jonah crab claws, poached shrimp, iced oysters and more.
6) Bistrot Zinc
Where: 1131 N. State
What: Stop in July 14 for a three-course prix fixe dinner for $29.95. Selections include country pate, twice-baked Chevre soufflé, grilled salmon, pork Milanese, chocolate mousse and much more.
7) Mon Ami Gabi
Where: 2300 W. Lincoln Park West
What: Kick off the celebration with some special a la carte dishes including chilled pea soup with radish and mint, arugula salad with duck confit and grilled peach, bouillabaisse with seafood and rouille, and lemon tart with market raspberries.
8) La Sardine
Where: 111 N. Carpenter
What: A $32 three-course prix fixe menu will be offered on July 13 and 14 and feature vichyssoise, duo of duck leg and sausage, roasted leg of lamb, crème brulee, chocolate truffle and more.
9) Kiki’s Bistro
Where: 900 N. Franklin
What: A special Bastille Day a la carte menu offers a selection of French favorites such as terrine de foie gras, coq au vin, steak frites, trout almandine and much more.
Where: 8989 Archer, Willow Springs, IL
What: Party in style with Courtright’s Bastille Day Celebration on July 14 starting with a garden reception of passed hors d’oeuvres and sparkling Cremant d’Alsace. Guests will then be seated for a five-course degustation menu paired with Chateau des Karantes wines. The cost is $100.
